HARMONIX XI is over! omg omg i'm a bit sad that concert is finally over, but then i'm also super super happy cos we rocked last night! yes yes i'm so proud of all of us! we've come so far together, and we put up a great concert last night so thanks everyone for all your hard work! ((: yayy. haha looks like all our morning and night pracs paid off well! lol and this is the first time that harmoc actually put up a musical, and it was such a great success omg! we seriously rock omg! ((: haha yayy! i think we sounded really nice last night, even though there were random wrong notes and mistakes here and there haha.
and beauty and the beast was <333! haha yes yes this goes out to my fellow beauty and the beast group mates: i luv all of you!!! haha we've seriously practised really hard together every morning and i think we sounded the best when we were practising outside the pac yesterday afternoon! yes yes i could really hear the emotion in the music, which was really really good! yeah man we finally managed to play it until it sounded as emo as it should be, so yayy!
haha i think phantom of the opera sounded the nicest! hehe the drums sounded damn cool omg! (: haha yayy! and canon! our j1 batch song! omg i was so scared for it, cos we always rush and our dynamics and expression were usually non-existent, and we still managed to sound like a mess on the day before the concert! but last night, we kept together without rushing or getting lost! haha yayy yayy i felt the unitedness of our batch in our playing (: haha and bojie and sandra were walking down the aisle of the pac while we played canon cos it was supposed to be a marriage scene! so sweet omg! (:
haha listening to our songs for the last time backstage was seriously a very emo experience for me heh. hmmm but then being backstage was fun too! just that it was really dark and i managed to bang my head on the wall cos i couldn't see where i was going oops haha. ohh yeah and i think the changing room in the backstage area of the pac is really cool omg! it's so big and nice and the mirrors are damn cool! there was this mirror that made everyone look skinnier than usual haha.
ohh yeah and after concert we were sorta partying in lt 6 haha (: damn fun omg. cos the j1s prepared brownies for everyone, and the j2s ordered a choc cake for us! haha telepathy omg! (: yeah and the food was damn nice haha yayy (: hmm then adeline and ruiyi were popping champagne bottles too! haha but it wasn't really champagne haha, just sparkling juice! but still it was quite fun lah haha.
ohh yeah and i received a lot of concert gifts! hehe thx yuling for the chocs! being in your design and publicity comm was really great! (: haha thx adeline and ruiyi for the note and chocs! and alicia, pei en and yu xi for your note and chocs too! (haha you've been great section leaders! thx thx! haha and thx for liking my voice and my smile and my...uh... musicality? ahaha (x ) oh yeah and clement gave me his m&ms cos he was allergic to peanuts! ahaha yayy now i have extra chocs heh! thx clement! (: hmmm and thx daniel, sharon and michelle for the flowers! (: margaret, vionna, zhihui, guo ling for the chocs, xianwei and wanxin for the cupcakes, weiying for the lollipop! haha hope i didn't miss anyone out (: oh man and i dropped all the stuff i was carrying and the cupcakes got a bit squashed! so sad right, but they still tasted damn nice haha yayy (:
haha so concert was damn nice! i'll miss it so much haha. i guess all the stress and fatigue of our hectic practices was worth it yeah! (:
yayy i'm really glad i joined a performing arts cca again! i can't imagine living life without having a concert or syf to work towards haha. omg and the funny thing was that when i was backstage, a part of me was recalling my first strings concert, StringOn, and my first syf haha. i guess i never really left the memories of strings behind.
haha then today was labour day holiday! no sch yayy! haha i went for lunch with my parents! we went to prima taste at centrepoint haha (: then i bought my dad's bdae present! yayy! haha and we bought loads of sweets from marks and spencer haha. omg i luv wine gums! ((:
